"I hope the haircare business treats you better than it did me," Henri declared dramatically, as he handed over the keys to Hairy Shearers.

Julio closed his fist tightly around the keys, as though he feared them being taken back. He regarded the dark, shuttered salon -- now his -- with fierce, obvious excitement. "I’m sure it will."

Henri gave Julio a pitying look that Julio ignored entirely. "Running a small business isn't easy," Henri warned.

"I know. But too much worrying gives you grey hair, Henri." Julio replied, as Henri snorted. "I won't waste this opportunity. It's my dream."
