Collateral Mortality

"My father is not very popular among the ruling caste these days." Prysm sneered, "Not since the Technis Disaster, that is."

Confused, Argent mouthed the words 'Technis Disaster' -- then it clicked. "Cyborg!" she exclaimed.

Fringe growled in accord. Prysm nodded.

"The other hive rulers blame Ch'ah?" Hotspot asked.

"Cyborg came for us," Prysm answered, putting a hand on Fringe's arm, "and so many vital systems were destroyed. H'San Natall died. All because we'd been Teen Titans once." She scowled. "'A costly accident of birth, paid in blood by all', it was called. Fringe and I are not welcome back home."

I love the title of this - something about the turn of phrase here just really works. I like the details in this; it's good to see more H'San Natall stuff! A good drabble.
